Why does my Cursor jumps from one point to the next?

You may notice on occasion that the cursor seems to 'jump' in stages rather than move smoothly between points. This is because the increment tool is switched on. Using incremental points can be useful if you always want to move a certain distance or angle. However, most of the time you may not want this.
