Print your drawings at any scale or paper size you wish. Add accurate dimension lines and other details required for planning permission. GRAND DESIGNS 3D Self Build & Development, includes additional 2D drawing tools that allow you to add electrical and plumbing details. Cavity walls can also be represented in your plans. Show landscaping, fittings and furniture in your plans. Send your files to your architect using the DXF export tool or import DXF CAD drawings and commence designing from existing plans.
Automatic roof or manual roof design supports a variety of roof styles including ridge, pent, flat, hipped, partially hipped, mansard (French roof), Mansard gable, Barrel, sloping roof and dormers. Design complex roofs using free the free roof tool and/or multiple buildings.
Dormer windows can be placed into roofs, supporting Flat, pitched, trapezoid, hipped, barrel, bat and terrace dormer windows.
Generate and place stairs with a few simple clicks, adjust parameters and see the changes instantly in 3D. Supports timber and concrete stairs, including straight, L shaped, U shaped, spiral, curved, winding, ramps and your own shape using the polygonal stairs.
Additional floors are easily added allowing you to copy all or some of the existing floor plan. Different floor heights can be set for each floor level allowing you to create complex split level designs. Floors can be viewed individually or as a whole in order to simplify your workspace.
